Republic Airlines was created by the 1979 merger of Southern Airways and North Central Airlines. Following the 1980 buyout of Hughes Airwest, Republic became the world’s largest operator of the DC-9. Part of this fleet were nine of the convertible DC-9-15RCs. Our decal depicts the Republic DC-9-15RC fleet in this attractive turquoise scheme.
