"Voodoo", N551VC has been a long-term racer, recently dominating the Reno Air Races. In 2007 "Voodoo" raced at Reno and appeared at the Gathering of Mustangs and Legends with racing modifications comprising reduced span wings and ailerons with racing tips, reduced span tailplane, extended wing root fairings, shallower longer radiator housing. and larger fuselage-fin fillet. At this time the aircraft sported a standard canopy rather than its more usual cut down racing canopy. This decal represents this Mustang as it appeared at Gathering of Mustangs and Legends in Columbus, Ohio during 2007.
