In a move that surprised many, following the acquisition of AirTran Airways by Southwest Airlines, Delta Air Lines entered into an agreement to acquire all 88 of AirTran’s 717-200 aircraft. The first aircraft to join Delta’s fleet is N935AT, and this set also includes a full set and numbers and letters for every registration for the planned Delta 717 fleet. In October 1995, Valujet Airlines was the launch customer for the ultimate variant of the venerable Douglas DC-9 family - the McDonnell-Douglas MD-95.  In 1995 Valujet placed an initial order for 50 aircraft plus 50 options.  The MD-95 became the 717 after Douglas merged with Boeing, and Valujet became AirTran who placed the 717 into service in 1999.  Use this decal with the resin 717 kit from RetrokiT.

Originally started as Air Botnia, Blue1 was branded in January 2004 after low-cost competitor Flying Finn ceased operations.  Owned by the SAS Group, Blue1 is also a member of the Star Alliance.  As part of its membership in the Alliance, the airline has painted two of its Boeing 717s in the Star Alliance paint scheme.  Use this decal with the resin 717 kit from RetrokiT.

In early 2008, Turkmenistan Airlines introduced a new color scheme.  The green colors were a break from the airline's previous blue-themed schemes.  Among the aircraft repainted in the new colors were the airline's fleet of seven Boeing 717s.  The 717 fleet was removed from service in February 2012, and the aircraft returned to their lessor.  Use this decal with the resin 717 kit from RetrokiT.
