Our Price: $8.00

For two years from 1969 to 1971, Purdue Airlines, based in West Lafayette, Indiana, operated three McDonnell-Douglas DC-9-30's.  The jet aircraft were a step up from Purdue's previous DC-6 and DC-3 props.   In reality, Purdue operated four DC-9's - the other being Hugh Hefner's Black Bunny, for which the airline provided both crews and maintenance.   The airline DC-9s wore a blue and white color scheme.  Use this set with the RetroWings DC-9-30 kit.
