After the purchase of Alaska Coastal Airlines in 1967, Alaska Airlines became a Grumman Goose operator. Alaska operated four different Grumman Gooses in the "Golden Nugget" scheme: N2751 and N4773C from 1967 until 1972, N1019N during 1968 as well as N4772C. N2751 was also painted in the "Totem Pole" scheme as depicted in our set Goose-9.  Use this set with the F-Toys Grumman Goose model kit.

Alaska Airlines now operates a large and still growing fleet of 737-800s.  The commemorate the launch of Hawaiian service, Alaska has adorned the tails of the ETOPS-equipped 737-800s with a flower lei on the Eskimo.

Alaska Airlines was the launch customer for the longest member of the 737 family and operates 12 737-900s. The aircraft were delivered without winglets, but the fleet has now been retrofitted to include the Aviation Partners blended winglets.  Hogan makes an excellent push-fit 737-900 that can be made into a very nice model and looks good next to the Hasegawa 737-700 and -800.  You can also combine two Hasegawa kits to make a -900, use a plug .272" forward of the wing and a plug .254" aft of the wing.

Alaska Airlines is a large operator of the 737-400.  At one point Alaska operated 30 737-400s.  One of these was converted to the world's first 737-400 freighter, see our Alaska Air Cargo set 737-65, and four were also converted to combi's.  This set depicts the standard scheme on the Alaska 737-400 fleet.

Seattle-based Alaska Airlines operates an all Boeing 737 fleet including the 737-400, -700, -800 and -900 variants. The largest portion of the 737 fleet is the 737-800 which this decal depicts in the "standard" scheme. Alaska also has many ETOPS equipped -800s which have the Eskimo on the tail wearing a Hawaiian lei which is offered on our set 20-737-113.

Alaska Airlines was an early operator of the 737-700, taking delivery of their first of 22 -700's in 1999. Five have left the fleet, and 17 remain in service. In addition, Alaska Airlines also operates the 737-400, -800 and -900 which are available as other sets in our line.

Alaska Airlines operated the very first 737-400 freighter.  The aircraft was a former Alaska Airlines passenger aircraft prior to its conversion to a pure freighter.

At one point, Alaska Airlines was the largest operator of civilian Hercules in the world.  The decal depicts the full,  "Golden Nugget " scheme worn on these very attractive aircraft.  Please note this set is printed in a Gold CMYK color and NOT in a metallic gold.
