Founded in 1976, PrivatAir is active in many aspects of the aviation industry, including operating multiple aircraft in charter and scheduled service.  The first aircraft, a 737-200, was acquired in 1986.  This 737 was operated in 1996 and 1997.  Prior to implementing their current livery, PrivatAir painted HB-IEH in a simple, but colorful gray and red scheme.

For a short time, Lufthansa experimented with a yellow paint scheme on a Boeing 737-230 (D-ABFW).  The scheme was not adopted for use at Lufthansa, but was used at Condor.

At one point South African Airways operated over 25 of the venerable 737-200 in passenger service.  In 1995, South African then converted two of them into freighters, one of which continues to operate to this day.

Anchorage, Alaska based Mark Air operated a fleet of eleven 737-200's, some of which were equipped with gravel runway kits and/or main deck cargo doors.  After abandoning most services in Alaska, Mark Air ventured into operations in the lower 48 states of the USA.  This operation was short lived, and ultimately Mark Air ceased all operations in 1996.

EG&G Aviation operates a fleet of 737s used to shuttle Defense Department employees and some military personnel between Las Vegas, Area 51, and the Tonopah Test Range.  This decal depicts the 737-200s which are now being supplanted by four newer 737-600s.
