In 2011, Japan Airlines introduced new corporate branding and a new color scheme, bringing back the long-serving crane logo.  Titling received an updated font as well.  The other segments of the JAL family are receiving the updated livery as well.  This decal provides the markings for the Boeing 737-846s operated by JAL Express on domestic routes.

Established in 1998, JAL Express is a wholly owned subsidiary of Japan Airlines.  Initially operating the 737-400, JAL Express has now retired all but two of the eight 400’s in the fleet in favor of the newer and more economical 737-800.

In 2011, Japan Airlines introduced new corporate branding and a new color scheme, bringing back the long-serving crane logo.  Titling received an updated font as well.  The aircraft color scheme itself is rather bland, being yet another in a far too long list of  "white whale " schemes that are en vogue in the airline industry these days.  This decal provides the markings for the McDonnell-Douglas MD-90.  JA8070 was the first MD-90 repainted.  With the fleet due for retirement in March 2013, few, if any, other aircraft are likely to see these colors.

In September 2002, Japan Airlines introduced a new color scheme to mark the merger of JAL with Japan Air System (JAS). The new scheme was called ‘Arc of the Sun’ and featured a rising sun on the tail of the aircraft. The aircraft of affiliated carriers were also painted in this new scheme. This decal provides the markings for J-Air’s fleet of 9 Canadair CRJ-200ER’s.

This set is designed to be used with the Braz Models CRJ conversion set combined with the Revell CL-600 Challenger kit
or with the soon to be released full resin CRJ200 kit from Welsh Models.

This scheme is the classic JAL scheme with the red and blue cheatline and crane logo on the tail, and it represents the probable appearance of the aircraft had it been delivered in the late 70s. Use this with the Revell 2707 SST kit.

Japan Air Lines has long been a loyal Boeing customer.  In July 2005, JAL ordered four Boeing 767-346F freighters.  The first aircraft was delivered in June 2007, and the aircraft wore a striking bare-fuselage version of JAL’s 2005 color scheme.  Only three were delivered and all have since left the fleet.
