1:200 Empire Airlines DC-3s
Our Price: $5.00

Empire Airlines grew out of Zimmerly Airlines, of Coeur d'Alene, Idaho in March 1946.  Empire was still flying their three Boeing 247's until March of 1948 when they upgraded to Douglas DC-3's. They flew mainly in Idaho serving Boise to Lewiston, Pocatello and Coeur d'Alene. Routes were later expanded to Washington and Oregon.  In the mid 1950's Empire was absorbed into West Coast Airlines.

The idea for this set came from these photos: http://www.edcoatescollection.com/ac3/Airline/Empire%20Air%20Lines%20Douglas%20DC-3.html
