In the early 1980s, AeroMexico began taking delivery of McDonnell-Douglas MD-82s, for which the airline was one of the launch customers.  These Mad Dogs joined the Douglas DC-9-15s and DC-9-30s already in the fleet.  These aircraft were delivered in a new orange over bare metal color scheme that was being introduced to the airline’s aircraft.  Eventually, eight MD-82s would wear these colors.  This decal provides the markings for all eight MD-82s.  This set was recently updated to include double-struck white ink. more info

Dutch charter carrier Transavia leases out their aircraft to other airlines for short-term leases.  One such lease was to AeroMexico during the winter 2010-2011 and 2011-2012 seasons, with two different aircraft each year.  Our decal depicts the hybrid scheme seen on these four Transavia 737-800s operated by AeroMexico. more info

To commemorate the 10th anniversary of the Skyteam alliance in 2010, member airlines started painting a small portion of their fleet in the Skyteam paint scheme.  This special scheme features a pearlescent silver fuselage with a dark blue vertical stabilizer.  The silver paint is nearly identical to the silver used on the final Northwest Airlines color scheme.  AeroMéxico painted 767-200ER XA-JBC into this Skyteam scheme. more info
